What is Scrip?    Scrip is a term that means "substitute money."

When you use scrip you are purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash.  Scrip is issued by national and local retailers where many of you may already shop.  These merchants want to support our school and in return ask you to support them by shopping with scrip at their stores.  You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing and essentials, like filling up your vehicle. Example: Purchasing $100 a week in gas at 3% saves you $3.00 dollars a week or $12.00 dollars a month.  Over 4 months you save $48.00 dollars which in most cases will fill a vehicle.

When you purchase your scrip cards you pay face value and receive a percentage back (as indicated on your order form).  These discounts will be credited towards your school commitment fee.  Any money earned over your commitment fee will come back to you in the form of a check in May.  This year JoAnn Hermes is handling scrip and if you have any other questions regarding scrip you can contact her at hermes2526@comcast.net .  To Sign up for scrip you need to contact Mrs. Hermes and apply through the school.

Note:  Forms can be downloaded from the link to the left, picked up at the office or requested through the above email address by email.
